Fellow Friends in the Faith,

 

“Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.”  ~Psalm 100:4

 

            This is the month that we celebrate Thanksgiving.  During this time especially, we count our blessings and think of all the things that we are most grateful for.  It is good to thank God every day for all He does and everything that He has blessed us with.  Jesus is worthy to be praised for who He is and the price that He paid at Calvary for us!  I can’t thank Jesus enough for the gift of salvation that He provided for me.  We serve a wonderful Saviour who loves us and provides abundantly.  I’m so thankful for Jesus and what He means to me! 

 

            I’m also thankful to God for you and all of our supporting churches and donors.  God has absolutely blessed CRADLE with the best supporters!  It means so much to us to have your backing.  Thank you for all you do to further the gospel of Christ and help those who are in need!  Because of the abundance that God has provided to CRADLE, we were able to donate five vehicle loads full of needed supplies to the hurricane victims down south.  God put it upon our hearts to do what we could to help the desperate and destitute in North Carolina following Hurricane Helene.  Urgently needed items, such as, diapers, wipes, diaper rash cream, potty training pants, formula, baby food, and baby/toddler clothes were sent to help moms, dads, babies, and toddlers who were in dire need.  We also sent Bibles and packed gospel tracts in the supplies.  We desire to be the hands and feet of Jesus to help the hurting, as far as we can reach.  We could not do what we do to help others without the support that God sends through our donors and supporting churches.  Thank you!  We are incredibly grateful!

 

            I’m so blessed to share that God saved two of our clients last month!  Praise the Lord!  What a blessing it is to be part of a ministry that gets to meet people right where they are, to have the privilege of presenting the gospel to them, to teach them the Word through Bible studies and discipleship.  I’m so thankful to be a part of this life-changing ministry!

 

            The Free Community Giveaway that we held in October was a huge success!  66 families were served and 156 babies and children, under the age of 5, were helped!  This event was open to anyone in the surrounding communities with no requirements other than being pregnant or having custody of a child under 5 years old.  Because of God’s great provision through our faithful supporters, we were able to hand out over 3,000 diapers, wipes, pull-ups, fall/winter clothes, coats, diaper rash cream, and a variety of larger items.  We were also privileged to hand out Bibles and gospel tracts on salvation.  It is such a blessing to serve God and others alongside CRADLE workers and volunteers who have hearts full of love, eager to serve the community, and reach the lost.

 

            Thank you for your continued prayers for this ministry, our clients and their children.  We have several prayer requests.  We are in need of a Client Coordinator and Office Assistant.  These are paid, part-time positions that would be Tuesday-Thursday, 10am-4pm.  The Client Coordinator would see our (almost all female) clients for their appointments.  The Office Assistant would help with office tasks.  There is no prior training required; we will provide the training needed.  We also could use extra hands around the ministry and are in great need of able-bodied people who could carry items up to the MRC.  Even if it’s only for thirty minutes to an hour once a week or twice a month, it would be of great help to us!  Also, please help us pray for God to send the people that He wants to add on the CRADLE Board.  If anyone is interested in any of these positions, please contact our office and we will be happy to assist you and answer any questions you may have.  Thank you for all you do to support this much-needed ministry!
