This Month's Update:
Beloved Friends,
We want to wish you a very Merry Christmas from CRADLE! This is a time for us to
reflect on what Christmas really means, the true meaning of what we are celebrating. Yes, we
love to gather with friends and loved ones and who doesn’t like to give and receive gifts, but
that’s not what is most important. This time of year we are all so incredibly busy. The parties,
get-togethers, school activities, children’s sport schedules, Christmas cantatas, plays, and
programs, shopping, wrapping, cleaning, cooking, planning… it becomes a lot and oftentimes
these things all pile up and steal our joy. I’d like to invite you to slowdown, take a few
moments to bask in the goodness of God and sit in wonder of God the Father loving us enough
to send His only Son, Jesus, to save us. The knowledge that Jesus willingly came, knowing what
He would face, the terrible punishment for our sin that He would pay, is astounding to me.
That kind of love is unmeasurable and indescribable, but wow, that is the love the Lord has for
us.
There has been a song that’s been on my heart for a of couple months now. When I
hear it, sing it, or read the words my heart overflows with praise and complete adoration for
my Saviour. Tears stream down my cheeks as my soul pours out worship to God. Most of the
time we only hear the first verse, occasionally the last verse will be included. I’ve recently just
discovered a middle verse that I had never heard before. Let me share it with you. Please don’t
skip over the words, read them and really take in the message they hold. I pray they touch your
soul like they have mine and truly stir up a spirit of worship within you. Our Saviour is worthy
to be praised!
“O holy night, the stars are brightly shining; it is the night of the dear Savior’s birth.
Long lay the world in sin and error pining, till He appeared and the soul felt its worth.
A thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices, for yonder breaks a new and glorious morn!
Fall on your knees! O hear the angel voices! O night divine! O night when Christ was born!

Led by the light of faith serenely beaming, with glowing hearts by His cradle we stand.

Praise the Lord! What hope we have in Jesus! Glory to God for He is worthy! Trials of
this life pale in comparison to the wonders of His love for us! Oh, how the Saviour loves us!
We are so undeserving, but the grace of God rains down upon us freely. There’s not a problem
that He can’t solve. Our God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we could ask
or think! We are trusting in Him to continue to provide for our needs at CRADLE. God is always
so good to nudge the hearts of His people to give in support of this crucial ministry. The donors
and supporters of CRADLE are always so faithful to give to help others. We praise God for you
and thank you for doing what you can to ensure that babies and young children don’t go
without what they need.
We are a nonprofit, pro-life ministry that relies solely on God’s provision through
kindhearted donors like you. Your donation to CRADLE allows us to continue to hand out and
teach the Word of God, give parenting education, provide formula, diapers, clothes, coats,
cribs, car seats, and many other essential items to children in need. CRADLE stands for Christ-
Centered Resources to Assist in Difficult Life Experiences. The economy right now may look
bleak, but our God is a wonderful provider! He owns the cattle on a thousand hills. Nothing is
too hard for our God! I know He will provide for this ministry, our clients and their children just
like He always has. He’s done it before and I know He will do it again. Thank you for your
prayerful consideration in making a tax-deductible gift to this much-needed ministry. I pray
that God blesses you for your generosity in helping to provide for “the least of these”.
