Dear Friends in the Faith,
“I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.” ~Psalm 34:1-3
We are so thankful for our supporting churches, donors, and all of those who have a heart for the ministry of CRADLE. We held our annual Baby Shower Drive last month. God is always so faithful to provide! Thank you for all you do to further the gospel of Jesus and to be a blessing to moms, dads, and children in need. Your support encourages us in the ministry and helps those who come to us in their time of difficulty. We are grateful to be able to help provide for our clients and their children. God has abundantly blessed CRADLE with many needed material items. His outpouring of goodness on this ministry is such a blessing of grace. I praise God for His wonderful provision through our faithful supporters!
Because of the steadfastness of our supporters and the faithfulness of God, we are able to have another Mother’s Appreciation Giveaway this year. This event will be open to everyone in the surrounding communities. You do not have to be a CRADLE client to take part in this giveaway. There are no requirements other than either being pregnant or having a child in CRADLE sizes (Newborn-5T). In addition to baby/toddler clothes, diapers, wipes, diaper rash cream, etc., we will be handing out Bibles and gospel tracts. We have been blessed to be a blessing! CRADLE isn’t meant to be a storehouse, but a funnel to help people in need with what has so graciously been provided by the mighty hand of God. Weather permitting, this event will take place outside of CRADLE on May 14th, 11am-1pm. Please help us spread the word! We desire to help as many people as possible.
Looking ahead, the 21st annual CRADLE Walk for Life is planned for Saturday, September 12th. Please, mark your calendars and save the date. We would love for you to be a part of this wonderful time of fellowship and fun in support of life! This is CRADLE’s most important fundraiser of the year. A lot of time and hard work goes into the Walk for Life. We would really appreciate you joining us in prayer as we plan and prepare for this special event. More information will be mailed out at a later date. I’m looking forward to seeing what God has in store for us this year! Jesus is always so faithful!
As the weather warms up, we always have an increase in clients. Currently, we have 49 consistent clients. That is an extremely full schedule. I ask you to join us in praying for our current clients and those that God sends our way. We are also praying for God to send the new volunteers, staff, and Board members, with hearts to serve in this ministry, that He wants to join CRADLE. Please continue to pray for our current staff, volunteers, and Board. We all want God’s will for this ministry, for the name of Jesus to be lifted up so that He can draw all people unto Himself for salvation and a closer Christian walk. Everything we do is for our Saviour, to see souls saved, and to help those in need. We want God to be honored in all that we do. Your partnership and prayers mean more to us than we can adequately express. You are truly a blessing to us and the families we serve. Thank you!
