Dear Friends in the Faith,
“So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.” ~Psalm 90:12
I believe now more than ever, we need to give the gospel to every person that we can. We
know The Way to eternal life, only through and by Jesus Christ. We shouldn’t keep that to ourselves thinking that others will do the job of reaching the lost. We are commanded in God’s Word to go and tell everyone about Jesus. Sharing our faith can seem nerve wracking or awkward at times, but in 1st Peter 3:15 we are told to always be ready to give an answer to everyone that asks about the hope that is within us with gentleness and respect. We can do that knowing that the reason for our hope, Jesus, promised to be with us always, even unto the end of the world.
In Ephesians 2:10, it is explained that we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do
good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. At times, we may feel inadequate to share the gospel with others. I’m sure you’ve heard the old saying, “God doesn’t call the equipped. He equips the called.” That saying is so true. In and of ourselves we probably couldn’t do more than just make a mess of things, but God has called all Christians to share His message of the gospel with the help of the Holy Spirit that lives within us. Through Christ, we can do all things! Some plant, others water, but it’s always God that brings the increase. We are just to be obedient to whatever the Lord tells us to do in His Word and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. We can’t go wrong following the One who is The Way.
Currently, we have a very important need at CRADLE. Will you help us pray for God to meet
this need and send us the person He wants for the Client Coordinator position? The Client Coordinator meets with our clients during their appointments and has the awesome opportunity to share the gospel, teach bible studies and parenting education. They are there to listen and offer biblical guidance to the people that God sends to CRADLE. This is a paid, part-time position, but it is so much more than a job or a paycheck. It is an opportunity to have divine appointments given by God to change people’s lives for the better and lead them to The Way to eternal life through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
Last month, our counselors were blessed to lead three moms and a dad to be saved! 19 men
and women have accepted Jesus as their personal Saviour while being counseled at CRADLE so far
this year! To God be the glory for it all! I say it all the time and I’ll say it again; this is a work with

to be a part of this ministry. There are many different areas in which you can serve. Reach out to us
and we would be glad to speak with you and answer any questions you may have.
I’m happy to share that we have another Free Community Giveaway that is scheduled for
October 16th at CRADLE, 11am-1pm. This giveaway will be open to everyone in the surrounding
communities, not limited to only CRADLE clients. We will be handing out Bibles, gospel tracts,
supporting church lists, along with diapers, wipes, rash cream, fall/winter clothes (sizes preemie to
5T), and a variety of other items. I’ve included a flyer for the giveaway. We would appreciate you
spreading the word so that we can help as many people as we can!
