Beloved Friends,

 

“A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.  By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.”  ~John 13:34-35

 

We endeavor to follow this commandment with our clients every day at CRADLE, as well as in our personal lives.  Jesus set the example in how He loves us and He commands that we show that love to others.  By doing this, people will know we are followers of the Saviour.  The women, men, and children that the Lord sends to CRADLE need compassion, empathy, encouragement, guidance, and love.  It is our honor to offer these things and to show the love of Jesus to everyone who comes to CRADLE.  Thank you for showing the love of Christ by praying for this ministry, our clients, staff, volunteers, board, and for your faithful support.  We are immensely grateful for your continued partnership!

 

I ask that you pray specifically for God to send who He wants to CRADLE in different areas of need.  Currently, we have an abundance of clients who need our help.  Usually this time of year we have low client numbers, but we are still running at a high client volume even in these extremely cold months.  Volunteers are always needed in this ministry especially women with a heart to work one-on-one with clients during their appointments.  Due to our current Office Manger needing to resign to better take care of her precious daughter, we are now seeking God to send us the woman He wants for this incredibly important position.  Please help us pray for wisdom and discernment in selecting the person that God wants.  The Office Manager at CRADLE is like the heartbeat of the ministry.  It isn’t a job to fill; it is a calling.  I say it all the time, but it is so true, CRADLE is Kingdom work with eternal rewards.  If you would like to make a positive difference in the lives of others and impact the Kingdom of God, here’s your chance.  We would greatly appreciate you sharing this urgent need with your congregation.  We are trusting the Lord to provide as He always does.  Jesus is faithful and He can be trusted!

 

Looking ahead, we plan to hold a Baby Shower Drive during the month of April.  We are also planning our annual Mother’s Day Giveaway that will be held in May.  Thank you for your prayers for these events and for us as we go through this transition and move forward in the ministry reaching out to help as many people as we can while showing them the love of Jesus.  It is a comfort to know you are praying alongside us.
