To Our Dear Friends,

“Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.”  ~Matthew 1:23

There are many names for our Saviour, Jesus.  The Bible tells us in this verse that He would be called Emmanuel, meaning God with us.  Wow, really think about that, God with us!  All throughout scripture you find a multitude of attributes of God’s Son, Jesus.  Many scriptures talk about how Jesus is our peace.  Isaiah 9:6 tells us that, “His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, the everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”  I believe we are living in a day that we are in need of peace.  Jesus tells us in John 16:33, “In me ye might have peace.  In the world ye shall have tribulation:  but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”  What a comfort it is to know that no matter what is going on around us, we can rest in Jesus and allow Him to be our peace.

A song by Crowder that has been on my mind recently, talks about who Jesus is.  Take a minute to focus on each of these names and allow them to sink in deep.  Let the names of Jesus speak to you and your circumstances.  Jesus is all of these and more!  All that you’re needing, He is.

“Comforter, Counselor, Prince of Peace
Author and Maker of everything
Defender, Deliverer, King of Kings
He is, He is

Helper and Healer forevermore
Savior and Shelter through every storm
My Refuge, Redeemer and Lord of Lords
He is, He is

Child of Heaven and Son of Man
Provider, Protector, the Great I Am
Alpha Omega, Beginning and End
He is, He is

Hope for the hopeless
Rest for the weary
Help for the hurting
He is, He is

Mending the broken
Bearing the burdens
All that you're needing
He is”

Oh, how thankful I am that God sent His Son, Jesus, to be the propitiation for our sins.  I’ll forever be grateful that Jesus willingly gave His sinless life so that we can have the promise of Heaven, if we believe.  This is the message, the gospel and plan of salvation, that we give to our clients.  We strive every day to give hope to the hopeless; His name is Jesus.  CRADLE is a unique ministry where we are blessed to meet the needs of our clients by providing material items.  We educate our clients on child development, what to expect in pregnancy, infancy, and toddler years, parenting education, and many other topics.  Our counselors meet with clients privately and help them with the situations they are facing.  We provide a safe and confidential environment that allows the client to open up and communicate freely.  While assisting with people’s material needs, we have the great opportunity to help them with their spiritual needs, as well.  We are blessed to give the Word of God to every person that comes to us.  Bible studies are conducted with the clients and spiritual guidance is given.  What a wonderful ministry CRADLE is!  In the last year, we have been incredibly blessed to see seventeen clients saved while being counseled at CRADLE!  Praise God for the great things He has done!  All glory and honor go to Him!

We are blessed every day to serve God and others.  We count it all joy to be able to help those who are in need.  CRADLE is a nonprofit ministry which is 100% donor supported.  It is because of God sending us generous supporters and prayer partners that we are able to reach the lost and help the less fortunate.  During this Christmas season of giving, would you prayerfully consider donating a tax-deductible gift to further the ministry of CRADLE?  When you give to CRADLE you are investing in the lives of our clients and their children.  You are making a positive difference in the lives of real people in need.  We have been blessed to be a blessing!  We praise God for His provision through caring, compassionate people like you.  Thank you!

From everyone at CRADLE, we would like to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas!  We pray that God will bless you with peace, joy, and love this Christmas season and always.  As we reflect on the many names of our Saviour, may we be comforted with this truth- all that we are needing, He is.
