Beloved Friends,
“We love him, because he first loved us.” ~1 John 4:19
During the month of February, we celebrate love. The Bible tells us in the 4th chapter of 1st John that we are to love one another, for love is of God and every one that loves is born of God and knows God. The Word tells us that God is love. I’m so thankful that we serve a God of love! 1 John 4:9-11 says, “In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.”
That is what we do at CRADLE every day, love others and tell them of God’s love for them. We strive to show the love of Christ to every person that walks in the door. When we love others, they are more open to receive the gospel and spiritual truths. Through the love of God, we are able to show compassion, empathize, encourage, uplift, and help the many people that come to CRADLE. It is through your kind gifts that we can continue to hand out Bibles and help meet material needs in people’s lives. Thank you so much for what you do to show the love of Jesus to those in need!
I’m blessed to share some of the great things that are happening at CRADLE! Most importantly, God gloriously saved one of our clients in January! What a wonderful way to start off the new year! We are so thankful! The number of clients that we have the opportunity to help has increased quite a bit, because of this we were in need of more help which God graciously provided. We have had several new people interested in volunteering and after much prayer, two additional women have been hired to help in the office and to counsel clients. We are excited to see what else God has in store for CRADLE this year! We are grateful you are on this journey with us. Thank you for your faithful support!
“A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” ~John 13:34-35
